In most instances this works to the best advantage of our customers as should a room/ experience not be available they will usually benefit from a complimentary upgrade as they are celebrating a special occasion. Our customers also often get amazing offers on premium experiences at unpublishable rates due to the special nature of their bookings.

No, you do not have to pay any deposit to The Romantic Tourist when you book. Dependant on the terms of the supplier you are booking with, and the experience or occasion you are booking, the supplier may require you to pay a deposit to them directly to secure your booking. The supplier will provide full details of any such deposits at the time of

If you need to cancel for any reason, please do so in writing by emailing The Romantic Tourist team and the supplier via your customer account. We will then review the cancellation policy, and confirm with you and the supplier that the cancellation has been processed.

We always follow the suppliers own cancellation and payment policies.
