Your Stay

Romantic couples will love our spacious and stylish ocean front rooms, and we highly recommend The Oceanfront Blues rooms for honeymooners. Built on a pier off of our private beach you'll get a stunning view of the Avila Lagoon and Caribbean Sea or Caribbean Sea and downtown coastline. There is no hotel room on Curacao offering a better ocean view than this. This room type is our most popular one and is a firm favourite amongst couples.

We also offer a selection of apartments which are perfect for families, groups and wedding guests.

What to Do

The Avila Beach Hotel features two private beaches. Both beaches are protected from the wind and large waves by offshore breakwaters and consequently offers calm water to swim and snorkel. Alternatively the infinity pool is located near the Octagon Wing and offers a tempting alternative to relaxing on the beach. Our pool offers free sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels. Even in the pool you can enjoy the ocean view. With a cocktail in your hand, this is the most perfect refreshment. The hotel also has a spa and fitness centre.

Outside of the hotel Avila Beach Hotel is centrally located in the lively Pietermaai neighborhood near the UNESCO city center of Curacao. You don’t need a rental car per se. You are not stuck in the middle of nowhere. You’re on walking distance to downtown (15 minute walk) and we offer a free shuttle service to downtown twice a day; morning and afternoon.

While Blues Restaurant offers a Caribbean Kitchen and Jazz music, The Pen Restaurant & Terrace focuses on your culinary experience presenting the opportunity to taste only the best ingredients that our region has to offer. Unlike other Curacao restaurants, The Pen Restaurant & Terrace also organizes unique culinary events with Dutch Michelin Chefs twice yearly for over 15 years. Don’t forget our weekly events.
