The hotel is situated next to the Nadir Afonso Arts Center, right in the center of Boticas, Alto Tâmega and Barroso. Integrated in a space marked by an unparalleled natural beauty, the Hotel has facilities in a contemporary style and pays homage to the Painter, Artquiteto and Philosopher, Nadir Afonso.
Paintings, tapestries, photogalleries and books of the great master of contemporary Portuguese painting of the twentieth century are the decoration of the hotel.

Visit Nadir Afonso Arts Center and learn about the great master of contemporary Portuguese painting of the twentieth century. Inaugurated in 2013, the Nadir Afonso Arts Center is the result of a partnership between the Boticas Town Hall and the Nadir Afonso Foundation. The Nadir Afonso Arts Center houses about 80 works by the artist in permanent exhibition.
Visit Boticas park: the park is crossed bu the river Beça, the infrastructures created and the activities to be developed allow the public to get in touch with nature and with the population. The space has a vast natural and built heritage and the pedagogical and scientific components, the conditions to make the Boticas Park an attractive space and a great place to visit.
Taste the wine of the dead: a story that takes us to 1808, when the French invaded the region, the people, afraid of being plundered, hid what they achieved, among other things buried wine. Later, when they dug up the wine, they thought it was spoiled, but the wine was better than before.
Visit the Interpretation Center of the Archaeological Park of Vale do Terva / CI-PAVT: is the gateway to the Park. Installed in the old Parish of Bobadela, which has been rehabilitated for this purpose, it functions as a place of knowledge, providing a permanent exhibition that presents the characteristics and history of the territory, providing visitors with information that will allow you to discover this extraordinary cultural landscape.
Visit the European Center for Documentation and Interpretation of Iron Age Sculpture: The center is known as CEDIEC and it is housed in an old farmhouse, in which the existing spaces have been restored and adapted according to the needs of the center. On the ground floor of the main building is the reception area. In the adjoining ground floor room is the working area and treatment of materials. On the first floor of this building is located all the exhibition space related to the sculpture. The Center aims to promote archaeological excavation and research work, with a special focus on Outeiro Lesenho and other congeners who, articulated in a network, can clarify the essential parameters of the cultural development of the indigenous communities of the peninsular West.

In a mix of sophistication and barrosan tradition all our guests are invited to taste varied regional products of excellent quality, accompanied by a sophisticated service. Among the specialties are dishes made with the famous barrosã meat.
