Fairy Meadows Cottage looks out on to meadow land and the River Boyne. Black and White Thorn Trees are in abundance. The thorn tree is also known as the fairy tree and comes out in beautiful white flowers in May. To this day, a tree on its own in the middle of a field or on the side of a hill is left untouched because farmers are wary of cutting them down and upsetting the fairies. Bad luck will surely follow.
Fairy Meadows Cottage has a quirky feel. At ground level a lovely sun porch welcomes you into a modern kitchen/living area and bedroom with a super king bed and ensuite bathroom completes the downstairs layout. A small traditional cottage stairs brings you up to the converted attic. This space has a double bedroom and a spacious bathroom complete with a separate shower and free-standing bath.
