Your Stay

There are six deluxe 'tents', which effortlessly bring the outside world inside to you, with the warm tent-style suites opening out onto private viewing decks; the perfect place to start your day with a cup of coffee in the morning light, or sip champagne in the evening as the sun goes down. Each tent has been tastefully decorated with unique African influences, from the rustic wood to the woven basketry, the locally-crafted furniture to the crisp while linens; all blending together to create a place of pure peace and tranquillity.

What to Do

With your wilderness lifestyle led by the natural world, no two days are the same at Changa Safari Camp. Whilst there is always something to see in the wild, excursions tend to take you out and about at the same time as the animals, which is mornings and late afternoons/evenings. You also have the opportunity to become a part of the water wilderness that is Lake Kariba. A romantic cruise, a spot of fishing or a trip to the Sinyati Gorge are some of the activities to explore.

The Food of Love

Early morning tea and coffee is delivered straight to your tent, where you can enjoy it on the decking whilst admiring the views. Breakfast is served al fresco on the main deck, and lunches and dinners can be enjoyed at private tables, or around larger group tables if you'd like to get to know your fellow travellers. A sweeping curved stairway leads the main dining deck below, where a campfire sits on a bed of soft sand – this is the ultimate place to end your day with a nightcap, all sharing stories of your safari experience.
