Your Stay
Da Silva Surf Camp is set in a rustic Portuguese country house surrounded by vibrant green fields.
The house is made up of one double room and one triple room as well as several larger rooms. Set away from the main house there are also three cosy tiny houses which are all fully equipped with small kitchens, fridges and bathrooms to ensure a comfortable stay.
What to Do
Surfing is, of course, the main draw of Da Silva’s and the Camp offers surfing equipment for all skill levels as well as expert instructors.
However, there are also plenty of other activities on offer. The west coast of Portugal has numerous beautiful mountain bike trails. Explore local olive groves and vineyards, or take the coastal paths and drink in breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
If you’d rather explore on foot, the Camp can assist in organising day trips to the historic cities of Lisbon or Sintra where you can immerse yourself in Portuguese history. Stroll through ancient streets and discover castles as you sip on traditional green wine and listen to Faro music.
For something a little more romantic why not enjoy an intimate sunset horse ride for two along the empty beach?
The Food of Love
Da Silva Surf Camp offers legendary BBQs with fine local meats, fresh fish from the coast and organic vegetables, all served with traditional Portuguese sides. The delicious and rustic food is best enjoyed with one of the classic wines on offer.
If you’d like to go further afield, there are a couple of excellent restaurants in nearby Praia da Areia Branca. It’s also possible to order take-away to the camp if you and your loved one would prefer a relaxed and private night in together.
