Welcome to Dawson City — a place where Gold Rush legends, Indigenous heritage, and raw northern wilderness collide in one of the most extraordinary small towns on Earth. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023 as part of the Tr’ondëk-Klondike, Dawson City sits at the confluence of the Yukon and Klondike rivers, surrounded by mountains, boreal forest, and a sky that stretches forever

Known affectionately as “The Paris of the North,” Dawson City was once a roaring metropolis of 30,000 prospectors chasing Klondike gold. Today it’s a vibrant community of wooden boardwalks, heritage dance halls, legendary saloons, world-class arts, and the kind of authentic northern hospitality you simply won’t find anywhere else. It’s a town that was chosen by Frommer’s as one of the best places to visit in the world — and once you arrive, you’ll understand why.

This exclusive 6-day package brings together the best of the Yukon: breathtaking scenic flights and a full-day wilderness adventure through Tombstone Territorial Park, three nights at our boutique eco-friendly Dawson Lodge, nightly dining at the Yukon Spa restaurant, and an unforgettable evening of exclusive private spa access with massage, facial, and a private dinner. Bookended by nights in Whitehorse, Yukon’s capital, with all domestic flights and transfers included, this is a seamless journey into Canada’s wild heart.

Your Itinerary

  • Day 1 — Arrive in the Yukon

Fly from Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton to Whitehorse, the gateway to Canada’s North. Enjoy a complimentary airport transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore Yukon’s capital — stroll along the Yukon River waterfront, visit the MacBride Museum of Yukon History, browse local galleries and cafes, or simply take in the mountain views and fresh northern air.

  • Day 2 — Fly North to Dawson City

Fly from Whitehorse to Dawson City — a spectacular journey over vast boreal forest and mountain ranges. On arrival, a transfer brings you to the Dawson Lodge, our boutique eco-friendly hotel in the heart of the historic downtown, steps from the Yukon River, heritage buildings, and Dawson’s famous wooden boardwalks. Settle into your queen room with luxury Logan & Cove mattress, rain shower, and eco-friendly amenities. This evening, enjoy a 4-course dinner at the Yukon Spa restaurant (drinks not included). After dinner, explore Dawson’s legendary nightlife — try the infamous Sourtoe Cocktail at the Sourdough Saloon, catch a show at Diamond Tooth Gerties (Canada’s first legal casino and gambling hall), or wander the riverside trails under the midnight sun.

  • Day 3 — Tombstone Park Fly & Drive

The showpiece of your trip. Depart at 9:30am for a full-day wilderness adventure. Travel the iconic Dempster Highway into Tombstone Territorial Park by van with an expert local guide, stopping for jaw-dropping viewpoints and wildlife spotting along the way. Tombstone is one of Canada’s most dramatic landscapes — think jagged granite peaks, alpine tundra blazing with wildflowers, and pristine valleys stretching to the horizon. Enjoy a provided lunch surrounded by mountains, then take an optional 1–2 hour interpretive hike through the backcountry. The grand finale: a scenic bush-plane flight back to Dawson City, soaring over the very peaks and rivers you just explored on foot. Two perspectives, one unforgettable day. Return to the lodge and enjoy your second 4-course dinner at the Yukon Spa (drinks not included).

  • Day 4 — Explore Dawson & Exclusive Spa Evening

Breakfast at the Yukon Spa café, then a free day to immerse yourself in Dawson City. Explore the Tr’ondëk-Klondike UNESCO World Heritage Site — visit the Dänojà Zho Cultural Centre to learn about the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation, tour the historic Klondike gold fields, see Dredge No. 4 National Historic Site, visit the Dawson City Museum housed in the beautifully restored 1901 Territorial Administration Building, or browse the artists’ market and local galleries. Walk along the mighty Yukon River and soak in the atmosphere of this remarkable town.

Then comes the centrepiece of your stay: an evening of total exclusivity at the Yukon Spa. A facility that normally welcomes up to 30 guests becomes entirely yours for three private hours. Move freely between two saunas, the steam room, hot tub, and swim spa at your own pace, with no one else around. The indoor relaxation area is set intimately for two — a private table for your 4-course dinner, with just two loungers beside it, creating the most personal dining setting imaginable. Each guest also receives a full massage and facial during the session. Whether you’re soaking in the outdoor hot tub under the midnight sun or the northern lights, or unwinding after your treatments with a private candlelit dinner, this is an experience that simply doesn’t exist anywhere else. The entire spa, all to yourselves. Three hours of pure, uninterrupted indulgence in the heart of the northern wilderness (drinks not included with dinner).

  • Day 5 — Return to Whitehorse

Final breakfast at the Yukon Spa café, then transfer to the airport for your flight back to Whitehorse. Check in to your Whitehorse hotel and enjoy a free afternoon and evening — visit Miles Canyon, the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, or the Takhini Hot Springs, browse local galleries, or simply reflect on an extraordinary few days in the North over a meal out.

  • Day 6 — Departure

Complimentary airport transfer for your flight home to Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton. Depart with memories — and stories — that will last a lifetime.
