Love at First Sight

Built 400 years ago and located in Riga, the Relais and Chateaux Dome Hotel & Spa is a UNESCO World Heritage building and a unique architectural monument. The hotel was renovated in 2009 by leading Latvian designers, artists and craftsmen to create a stunning vintage hotel, with modern technologies intricately combined for the perfect blend of elegantly old and essentially modern living.

Romance

Enjoy champagne breakfasts, sit atop the fifth floor terrace for city views and grilled cuisine, or spend time in the spa with Turkish baths and romantic couple’s treatments. The staff at the restaurant offer different romantic events, from an intimate celebratory champagne breakfast for two to formal celebrations on the terrace (open May to September) on the fifth floor with beautiful views over the Church Cathedral and the Old Town. Guests can head up here for grilled food cooked right in front of you, while enjoying views of the city from a different and quieter perspective. The hotel is also the perfect boutique wedding reception venue, where you can arrange a personalised menu and luxurious floral decorations and indulge in some pre or post wedding couple’s treatments in the hotel spa.

Your Stay

This Relais and Chateaux hotel offers four categories of rooms and suites featuring elements of Art Deco style and modernism, floor to ceiling windows to create bright and relaxing spaces to create an ambiance of modest luxury and ultimate comfort. For something a bit special, we recommend the Deluxe Suites showcasing ancient wall and ceiling paintings, antiques and plenty of beautiful art. These suites are vintage in style yet as with all the accommodation still contain modern technologies too. Attention to detail is present in all of the rooms, with free WiFi, safes, nespresso coffee makers, king sized beds with Simmons Beautyrest mattresses, Egyptian cotton linens and heated bathroom floors to name a few little luxuries.

What to Do

The hotel’s concierge service can arrange as little or as many activities for you to enjoy during your stay. Choose from going to the theatre, opera or a concert, an exclusive dinner at a recommended restaurant, hiring a luxury car with a driver to take you wherever you desire or arrange for a personal shopper stylist to accompany you boutique shopping. Spend some time in the Dome SPA and enjoy the hammam which is complimentary for guests, or rejuvenate with a massage or body wrap. The SPA uses the prestigious Biologique Recherche care brand and also offers special rituals for couples, complete with new sensations and candles.

The Food of Love

The Hotel’s Fish restaurant, Le Dome has been recognised as the best fish restaurant in the Baltic countries with its friendly atmosphere and unique tastes and smells. Everything is freshly prepared, especially for you. The team of chefs proudly produce healthy and tasty food using fish from Latvian waters and vegetables and fruits grown on local farms. The hotel offers a healthy breakfast menu from porridge, to eggs your way and fresh fruit, while the lunch menu consists of fish, meat and of course vegetarian dishes too. There is also a terrace of the first floor with a full menu, so guests can enjoy alfresco dining.
