Blissful days spent around the pool and on the beaches of Banderas Bay are the highlight of most stays at Grand Miramar and a romantic stroll along Puerto Vallarta’s famous Malecon, is an experience not to be missed to really experience the culture, art and diversity of the area. Other recommended local places to visit include the 'Romantic Zone' just south of the Cuale River which has an Old Town flavour, thatch-roofed palapas and simple open-air restaurants lining the beach. The area is a favourite with artists and writers and there are more shops, cafés, bookstores, restaurants, galleries and bars along these cobblestone streets than anywhere else in Puerto Vallarta. Another local attraction is the Saturday Farmer's Market offering organic fruits and veggies, homemade treats and the opportunity to pick up some souvenirs from the local artisans who sell their work here, too.

Guests can dine at the new Cielito Lindo by Casianos and are taken on a 3 or 5 course journey to discover Mexico’s authentic culinary heritage though dishes uniquely created by the chef and based on the freshest available local ingredients.
