This exclusive retreat features a small, private site with two beautifully appointed lodges – Swan Lodge and Owl Lodge – as well as the exceptional Kingfisher Narrowboat, providing a range of unique accommodation options for a perfect getaway.

Each of our high-quality lodges and the narrowboat offer a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, modern central heating, and cosy log burners to enhance the romantic atmosphere. For your entertainment, you’ll find smart TVs in all accommodations. Step outside to enjoy your own private garden area, complete with decking, hot tub, picnic table, and fire bowl BBQ set – ideal for intimate outdoor dining and relaxation. Each accommodation also features its own unique day bed, providing the perfect spot for lounging in comfort.

For added enjoyment, we provide a selection of games, books, and binoculars in each accommodation, perfect to while away the hours in the peaceful surroundings. We also offer a range of extras to enhance your stay, such as celebration packs with balloons and flowers. Indulge in a soothing massage, join a private yoga session, or explore the area with a guided foraging or historical walk. You can also enjoy a peaceful row on the canal in our rowing boat, or try your hand at fishing – rods are available to borrow or bring your own (you will need a valid rod licence, these can be easily purchased online).

Hawthorn Hideaway offers self catering facilities, gourmet steak and BBQ hampers, afternoon teas, and ploughman's lunches, and our most popular offering, make special memories with our absolutely amazing fine dining experience, exclusive, special and only for you. Our chefs will work with you to create your own high quality 3 course meal. Your own menu, designed by you. Choose something favourite or something special, something new, something you've always wanted to try but never quite got round to it. Served in your own private restaurant for two. Especially For You is open and serving up whatever you desire. We also have a drinks licence, so we can provide wine or other alcoholic beverages on request, or bring something special of your own.
