Love at First Sight
Fall in love with the late 19th century liberty style villa which is immersed in the beautiful scenery of the famed Amalfi Coast. The Hotel Santa Caterina is an elegant residence set by the sapphire Mediterranean ocean on one side and olive groves on the other and is covered in iconic bougainvillea, offering traditional Italian hospitality in two restaurants.
Romance

Guests can also use the Hotel Santa Caterina as the location for their wedding reception for an intimate banquet on the ivy draped veranda with the glittering Amalfi coast in the background.

The Hotel Santa Caterina boasts classic Italian interiors and typical Mediterranean architecture, where each room is spacious and filled with natural light and have antique hand painted floors. Rooms are categorised into standard, superior and deluxe, junior suites, executive junior and suites. There is also a new addition of the Villa Il Rosso. Expect marble bathrooms with elegant brass fixtures, balconies offering sea or garden views, vaulted ceilings and open plan living.
What to Do
Sit on the Bar La Terrazza’s terrace for a romantically set post dinner cocktail, or swim in the heated sea water pool which overlooks the Mediterranean ocean which is part of the Beach Club. The hotel’s Beach Club is exclusive to Hotel Santa Caterina guests only and is complete with sun loungers, deck chairs, umbrellas and towels and set into the natural rock. There is also a gym close to the Beach Club which boast sea views, as well as a Wellness Centre where guests can indulge in face and body treatments using essences of Mediterranean herbs and citrus fruits.
The Food of Love
Choose from dining in the hotel’s main building in Restaurant Santa Caterina or, down on the sea level at Restaurant Al Mare. The hotel has earned an outstanding reputation from its classic Amalfi Coast recipes which have been given a modern twist by the talented chefs. Restaurant Santa Caterina offers Mediterranean cuisine with a wine list full of prestigious labels. Try raw shrimps to start or grilled medallions of lobster and quid, followed by home made pasta or breaded veal. Lunch is served on the perched ocean view terrace of Restaurant Al Mare during the summer months offering grilled fish and wood oven cooked pizzas.
