It is located in a prime position on Taormina coastline at 5 minutes drive from Hotel Villa Carlotta and Taormina town centre. This exclusive waterfront retreat on Taormina mare offers everything the refined and discerning guest is looking for: world class service and superb accommodations appointed with luxurious fabrics, exquisite art and rare antiques.

From the panoramic balconies and terraces of the property, one’s eyes are captured by a stunning view out on to the world famous Isola Bella, the most beautiful beach of Taormina, a WWF sea natural reserve at only 7 mins walk and around 100 steps away. Villa al mare is as picturesque as its surroundings with its beautiful clad stone facades and interior medieval walls, hand-painted floor tiles, large wrought-iron gates and vaulted ceilings that seem to compliment the divine starry skies of romantic Taormina nights . The interiors of the villa have been decorated with a careful selection of furniture and antiques.

Villa al mare is a three storey medieval palazzo. On the ground floor there is a large lounge with cross vaulted ceilings and 17th century sicilian balcony facing the sea, a dining area with table for 8, a fully equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom, laundry and store room.

The villa al mare three bedrooms have been meticulously restored and are unique in their design. Each is lavishly decorated with antiques and fine art culled from great collections from around the world. The synthesis of these varied elements create an atmosphere of timeless elegance and luxury. The custom built beds are outfitted in pure linen and come with a choice of pillows. All rooms feature its own bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, flat screen TV, international satellite channels, CD/DVD player, high speed internet connection, complimentary WiFi access, mini-safe, luxury amenities and toiletries.

The grounds of the property are well manicured and feature all those little details that make you feel special. On the ground floor near the kitchen in the villa’s large panoramic terrace, under a jasmine and bougainvilleas pergola there are chairs, sofas and one cast iron table for memorable breakfasts and dinners. Going up along an antique white stone staircase into the villa medieval tower, a stunning large panoramic terrace opens on the most beautiful Taormina scenary, the bay of Isola Bella. Here you can enjoy exclusive private days by the Jacuzzi bath tub, the super panoramic solarium with loungers, a large table with chairs and a small fridge for your total private relaxation.

You can take advantage of every service provided by the hotel such as concierge service, information desk including car rentals and excursions, complimentary access and use of Internet point and pool,our famous roof top restaurant, cocktail bar and parking at preferred prices. Please note these services are not available during seasonal hotel closing time (December-January-February). However the Hotel Villa Carlotta reception and concierge service are always available from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday (check-in and check out are possible at any time to arrange with hotel reception in advance). Once at Villa Carlotta, you can easily walk to all main Taormina attractions.
