In 1831, famous writer Prince Pückler Muskan visited Luttrellstown Castle. He was so taken by the beauty of the surrounding landscape that he wrote about the Glen and its ‘Gay shrubs and wild flowers, the softest turf and giant trees, festooned with creeping plants, fill the narrow glen through which the path winds.’ This beautiful bedroom takes inspiration from his memorable words, mixing the softest hues of the fabrics and furnishings with the natural light that comes in through the ornate windows. At the centre of this cosy space lies a magnificent king-size bed draped in luxurious 100% cotton monogrammed linen. Above it hangs a glorious chandelier that provides an added touch of elegance to the effortlessly stylish surroundings. There’s also a fold-out sofa bed for additional guests. The en-suite includes a walk-in shower filled with luxurious Molton Brown bathroom beauty accessories.
