Love at First Sight
Mas el Mir is as delightful to be indoors as it is to enjoy the outdoor spaces. The estate is filled with relaxing spots, whether by the pool with views, under a tree, or in one of the porches. There are enough spaces designed to ensure that even at full occupancy, every guest has a place to relax, either indoors or outdoors, without having to share it with others. This attention to detail shows just how much care has been put into making this small hotel a place to escape when we need to take a break and reconnect with ourselves for a few days. Valuing the authenticity of rural life that doesn't miss a detail are three of the pillars of Mas El Mir’s philosophy. This makes it a unique place to enjoy throughout all seasons of the year.
Romance
We have several types of massages, all adaptable according to each client, advised with the therapist and using various techniques to recover the balance of the body at a physical, mint and spiritual level. the suit Romani, 80m room with shower, bathtub, fireplace, living room and kitchen with magnificent views. We have a exterior and private hot-tub with magic views.
Your Stay
Sleeping between natural linen sheets, having breakfast with products from local artisans, spending the day discovering the many charming corners of the estate, and relaxing in the afternoon by the fireplace or in the pool when the weather is good—these are some of the small but great pleasures to be enjoyed at Mas el Mir. The first impact guests experience upon arrival is in the open courtyard with wonderful mountain views, in front of a beautiful chill-out area under the stone-arched porch, created with an antique bed, dozens of cushions, candles, and plants. Crossing the old stables becomes an experience, as Eva has decorated them with exquisite still lifes that include baskets, products from neighboring gardens, and dozens of candles and candelabras. On the first floor, there is another covered porch with views over the vast valley, leading to the kitchen, where, by the lit fireplace, guests check-in and are invited to taste a locally produced artisan beer or vermouth from the Ripollés region.
What to Do
For those looking for a more active way to enjoy nature, Mas El Mir is located in a privileged natural environment at the foot of the Pyrenees. There are hiking routes nearby that pass through cultivated fields and venture into the surrounding forests. When summer arrives we offer you our picnics to enjoy nature. Do you want to enjoy our gardens or discover the routes and landscapes that surround our farmhouse? We have two types of picnic ready, with basket or backpack, prepared for you.
The Food of Love
With local products, from cow and goat dairy products such as yogurts, cheeses, garbage, cheese, tupi... to the endless homemade jams of our friend and supplier also of products as special as gengibre apples, citrus fruits, bananas... Muffins, assorted breads, wholegrains, ries, corn and spelt, from the Slabs and Ripoll. Homemade sausages from Vilada and eggs from our chickens that will surely not leave you indifferent. Thanks to years of experience in the world of catering and as owners of two restaurants in Barcelona, we wanted to create a perfect pairing between the imagination and the tradition of mountain dishes in our area, with an interesting menu of organic, biodynamic and natural wines. And since we want you to relax as much as possible, Our breakfast is available until 11:00h.
