Love at First Sight

Paradiso del Caribe is a Villas Resort and very different from traditional resorts! Perfect for couples, groups and celebrations, the property consists of 17 large villas which have been divided into charming rustic apartments (complete with living room and kitchen with private garden and verandas) or bedrooms (each with private entrance, private bathroom, veranda and garden, large living room with shared kitchen). All rooms are very large with high ceilings.

The ambience here is relaxed and very romantic, and the property has been built and furnished with local natural materials (such as coral stone, coconut palm pole, palm leaves, etc.) And the most incredible thing is the pool at night, where, being in the water, you have the feeling of floating in a changing starry sky while listening to the soft music that awakens your most secret memories and desires.

All this is complemented by a delightful restaurant where you can enjoy fish, meat, vegetables, fruit, pasta and rice, beautifully cooked in either European or Caribbean style but always with personalized service that is warm and friendly.

During your stay we want to create an oasis with a Caribbean flavor and ensure everything super-romantic for our couples and honeymooners. Our staff can set up rooms, verandas and candlelight dinners on request (in many cases free of charge), and they are experts at customising the rooms so that each couple can expect a truly dreamy experience.

Your Stay

Your stay will be spent in a family atmosphere, reserved, free, totally special, pampered by friendly and genuine staff. You will be logistically in an ideal position to enjoy the natural beauty of the Caribbean and the friendly radiance of the local people. You can decide whether to live in a languid tropical dream spending your days by the pool, (perfect for the couples night and day), tickling your palate with different and exciting foods and drinks, or going on excursions of all kinds, to enjoy the white Caribbean beaches and the peculiar local characteristics.

What to Do

During your stay here there are many things to do, and it would easily take at least 15 days to try them all!

These are some of the experiences we highly recommend:

At least 4 beaches that should be enjoyed, La Plaiyta, Playa Grande, Playa Rincon (classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world, 3 km away, by sea, from the Paradise of the Caribbean) and Playa Fronton (there are many others in the immediate vicinity)
A boat trip to spend the day in Cayo Levantado, a wonderful island in the bay of Samana (beach and sea to enjoy with restaurants where to eat and enjoy a "pinacolada", a "mojto" or a "Coco Loco")
A boat excursion to the "Parque National de Los Haitites" is a must, a myriad of typically Caribbean islands venturing into the mangrove forests to visit the caves frequented by the ancient Tahinos Indians

Excursion on horseback to the Limon jump (wonderful natural waterfall in the tropical jungle)
Zip line in the jungle
The incredible experience of meeting wild marine animals: encounters with jorobaadas: between December and April, 3000 whales reproduce in Samana bay and it is very easy to meet them (it is practically safe to play with them every time that you go out in the right season, even while nursing) and get close enough to touch them
It is also a must to go, at least once, to take an aperitif at the Cabito (a very rustic place perched on cliffs overlooking the sea, very high, in the tropical vegetation), or to eat at Monte Azul (a particular restaurant, overlooking the sea, from which, while eating, it is possible to see the whales playing in the sea below)

The Food of Love

Let us arrange a romantic dining experience in our restaurant by candlelight, or for complete privacy we can set up in your room or veranda. Imagine listening to Caribbean music in the background, as you feast on freshly caught fish, crustaceans and molluscs, of all kinds, cooked in many ways. menu options also include meat, pasta, rice and characteristic local foods all washed down with natural fruit juices, prepared by us and excellent Italian wines and completed by pinacoladas, coco loco, etc.
