Picard Beach Cottages offer quaint, Caribbean-style bungalow cottages just a few steps away from the stunning beach of Prince Rupert Bay. Set on 6 acres of a beautiful old coconut plantation, the grounds are host to an abundance of greenery including a 600 year old Saman tree.
We pride ourselves on being a locally owned, eco-tourism boutique hotel and are committed to our on-going protection of the local flora and fauna.

Your Stay
Picard Beach Cottages houses eighteen one-bedroom hardwood cottages, each built in the style of the traditional 18th Century wooden bungalows which would have dotted Dominica's coasts and villages in those days.
Each cottage has been tastefully decorated and although simply dressed contain some of life's modern luxuries such as air-conditioning, TV with cable television, free wi-fi and kitchenettes.
The Beach Front cottages are just steps away from the beach and the Beach View cottages have glimpses of the beach through the flowering and fruit-filled garden.
What to Do
With it's incredible location by the beach you may opt to while away your days relaxing on the beach or in the lush vibrant gardens. However, if you're looking for something a bit more active there's plenty on offer here. Get a closer look at some of the wonderful wildlife by snorkeling, scuba diving or whale watching. You can even swim with the local whales if you wish!
Our Wellbeing Pavilion is positioned within the forested paddock and offers various sessions such as Pilates to relax your body as well as your mind during your stay.
The Food of Love
Le Flambeau Restaurant and Beach Bar serves an eclectic mix of delicious Creole, American and Continental cuisine. Using only fresh and local ingredients and organic wherever possible.
Our well-stocked bar and lounge offers an extensive variety of tropical cocktails perfect to sip whilst watching the breathtaking sunsets.
There are also numerous other restaurants and bars to eat at in the vicinity.
