A young couple from Italy, Maria and Luca, were visiting Athens for their vacation. A few weeks prior to their arrival, Luca reached out to us with a heartfelt request: he wanted to propose to Maria in a memorable and unique way that would beautifully capture the essence of their love story and the charm of Athens.

The Proposal Planning:

We collaborated closely with Luca to design an extraordinary proposal experience. Every detail was meticulously planned to ensure the moment was perfect.

Private Rooftop Dinner:

• Setting: We transformed the rooftop terrace into a romantic haven. Soft fairy lights were strung overhead, and the table was adorned with elegant floral arrangements and candles, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.
• Views: The rooftop offered stunning 360-degree views of Athens, including Mount Lycabettus, the Acropolis, and the Athens National Observatory. The timing was set to coincide with the sunset, providing a breathtaking backdrop.

Personal Touches:

• Customized Menu: A gourmet 3-course meal was prepared by our in-house chef, featuring Maria and Luca’s favorite dishes. We included personalized touches like a special dessert that spelled out "Will you marry me?" in chocolate.
• Live Music: We arranged for a violinist to play their favorite romantic songs throughout the evening, adding a touch of elegance and emotion to the ambiance.

The Proposal Moment:

• As the sun set, the violinist began playing "Con Te Partirò" (Time to Say Goodbye), one of Maria's favorite songs. Luca took Maria's hand and led her to the edge of the terrace, where the view of the city was most spectacular.
• Luca dropped to one knee and proposed, with the Acropolis illuminated in the background. Maria was overwhelmed with emotion and joyfully accepted.

Celebration:

• Champagne Toast: Following the proposal, a bottle of vintage champagne was uncorked, and the couple toasted to their future.
