Saba embraces seclusion, relaxation and comfort within a tranquil setting. Located near Berawa Beach on Bali’s south-west coast, Saba is less than 20 minutes from the heart of Seminyak and central to the popular Canggu area. This exclusive enclave comprises five independent, but inter-connectable one- and two-bedroom private villas, providing a total of nine large bedrooms, garden bathrooms, open-sided living and dining pavilions, well-equipped kitchens, swimming pools, lush tropical gardens and unique local artwork. All villas are fully staffed and include three professional chefs, who create delicious dishes from a central staff kitchen. Guests also have full, complimentary access to the nearby Finns Recreation and Beach Clubs.

Villa Saba is the ideal private villas estate to host your garden wedding ceremonies and reception event. With five separate villas and up to nine bedrooms in total (18 adults), the bridal party will be extremely comfortable and relaxed for the wedding that is held in our lush and manicured gardens. For the remaining wedding guests there is an array of quality hotels and villas close by. Our weddings are hosted in Villa Bima and Villa Yudhistira, both luxuriously appointed 2-bedroom villas, boasting a beautiful open air living pavilion, private swimming pools and lush gardens. Our courteous and talented staff are on hand during your stay to put any last minute touches on your wedding and provide for your enjoyment all day.

The beauty of Saba is its adaptability: it can be anything you want it to be, from a romantic honeymoon destination to a sprawling holiday retreat for several families, where the children can run freely between the villas without a care in the world or partake of the myriad of activities provided at the Finns Club including the sophisticated Splash Park.

With garden wall panels that slide open at just a moment’s notice, Saba is perfect for a romancing couple, a party of six or a troupe of eighteen; the choice is yours.

This contemporary complex of five villas features large bedrooms, tropical ensuite bathrooms, open-air living and dining pavilions (air-conditioned dining rooms in the two master villas), fully equipped kitchens, fridges, stocked mini bars, swimming pools, and lushly planted gardens. High speed WiFi internet is available throughout and all living areas are fitted with fully adaptable speakers. All bedrooms include smart televisions connected to the high speed internet.

Butlers are on hand 24 hours a day to cater to their guests’ every need, and a team of three private chefs prepare restaurant-quality food at very reasonable prices, and to international Food Safety Approved Standards. Professional security guards provide a round-the-clock service.

Canggu has now become the premier location for wining, dining and shopping, made very accessible courtesy of Saba’s shuttle service. World-famous surf beaches are within walking distance, and many new cafes and restaurants are springing up in the neighbourhood, just waiting to be explored. The sports and leisure facilities at Bali’s exclusive Finns Recreation and Beach Clubs are also available to guests during their stay.

What to Do

As well as having access to their own exclusive leisure facilities at the villa, guests also benefit from complimentary guest membership at Bali’s premier private members club, Finns Recreation Club, for the duration of their stay.

This family-orientated club luxuriates across 4,000 square metres of land in amongst the picturesque rice fields of Canggu. Upgraded in 2014, sporting facilities at the club are world-class and include a large, well-equipped gym with separate studios for aerobics, (spinning) bicycles and boxing, as well as a 25-metre swimming pool, a floodlit professionally turfed sports field, a tennis centre with three undercover tennis courts and an indoor multi-sports hall for basketball and badminton.

The Cubby House Kids Club* for 2-12 year olds offers a huge range of quality toys and activities to keep children entertained for hours, whilst the slides at the all-new Splash Water Park, set amidst the club’s lush tropical gardens, take fun to a whole new level. Kids will also love the Bounce Trampoline Centre, and can work on their fitness at the Junior Sports Academy (3-17 year olds), which offers football, swimming, gymnastics, dance and tennis lessons. For family fun, make a booking at Strike Ten Pin Bowling*.

You’ll also find a library at the club’s Business Centre and a choice of relaxing wining and dining venues including The Veranda Restaurant and The Club Sports Bar. At the Body Temple Spa, the decadent range of treatments includes facials, massages, nail services and waxing.

The Food of Love

Saba’s personal chef and his two cooks are at your service to prepare complimentary daily breakfast, plus lunch and dinner choices from an extensive and competitively priced menu. Beyond regular mealtimes our butlers are able to prepare snacks, giving 24-hour room service.

Our philosophy is to provide guests with restaurant-quality food at very reasonable prices. Chef Made is internationally trained and has worked for a number of 5-star hotels around the world. Saba’s kitchen uses the freshest produce available, and with a little advance notice our chefs are more than happy to prepare special requests and special-event meals ranging from a candle-lit, poolside dinner for two to a casual barbecue or a banquet set up in the garden. Apart from individual villa kitchen facilities, there is also a professional staff kitchen on site to cater for large parties and groups.

SABA also holds one-on-one cooking classes for guests who wish to learn more about Balinese, Indonesian and Chinese cuisine.

SABA has an internationally accredited Food Safety Management system (HACCP – “Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point” Food Safety Program to ISO 22000 standard), a unique feature in Indonesia.
