Love at First Sight
Set directly on the Chendor beach in Cherating, Pahang, The Kasturi Resort is the perfect five-star gem for a retreat from city life. With the rainforest behind and the beach to the front, it encapsulates the reality of being embraced by land and sea; commanding perfect view towards the sunrise, over the forested point of Tanjung Geliga and off to the South China Sea. With just 23 keys, the majority are beachfront villas with their own private pools with views across the sand and the ocean. It has a generous air conditioned living space adjacent to the bedroom and dressing area, a large bathroom overlooking a walled garden where there are an outdoor shower, a broad private deck and outdoor dining area with a garden and a pond, as well as a generous plunge pool and all the modern amenities a guest may need.
Romance
With forest and beach almost entirely just for the two of you; you will stay in a luxurious villa with your own pool, a gate directly to miles of beach to wander together, collecting shells and splashing in the shallows at The Kasturi. Guests can enjoy candlelit dinners on the beach or on the verandah of the restaurant or serve in your villa by your pool. Evenings can be spent watching turtles land to lay their eggs (April to September), or you can visit the hatchery in the late afternoon (June to October) to release newly hatched baby turtles, as a loving symbol of your connection to each other.
Your Stay
As a celebration of your marriage, it is wonderful to have time together alone, just getting to know each other. There is nothing so romantic as taking a boat along the Cherating River to see the fireflies in the evenings. Our staff will provide you with everything you may need, and help you to plan any activities you may enjoy.
What to Do
There are places to go for adventures, like the caves and tunnels at Sungai Lembing; the local town of Kemaman has a great market and a wonderful selection of restaurants for local food. Within 50 km north of The Kasturi are more beautiful beaches to be discovered and explored, and our staff can arrange trips to anywhere you would like to go. We have kayaks to paddle through the mangrove river just behind our resort, where the currents are gentle and the only sound is birdsong and the distant waves breaking on the beach. But the greatest joy is spending time together, away from everything, except each other.
The Food of Love
The intimate restaurant has been designed around an open concept, allowing views into the kitchen and behind the bar where the final presentation are detailed. Airconditioned in the main area, guest can choose to dine at the open-air verandahs with panoramic views of the sea and sand dunes, and to the main swimming pool and surrounding decks.
