This Swiss mountain lodge, taking pride of position in the heart of Zermatt and surrounded by majestic peaks, is a veritable snow-lovers’ paradise.
Nestled comfortably into the mountain side and designed by New York architect Ali Tayar, the Omnia is a masterful building that celebrates modern aesthetics beautifully. Every detail is exquisite, with much of the décor and furniture custom-made for the hotel. From the light-flooded sun terrace to the irresistible lure of the Cavern Club and the cosy, welcoming fire-lit restaurant, the Omnia is an unbeatable destination.
There are 30 rooms at the Omnia, 12 of which are suites. Rooms are Queen, Double or Double Deluxe. All accommodation boasts its own private balcony from which to enjoy those astounding views. The look is classic contemporary with sumptuous fabrics and high quality finishes used throughout.
Zermatt is a very popular resort positioned at the foot of the Matterhorn. This is an Alpine resort that offers year-round fun! There are around 12 peaks in the surrounding area that are easily accessible and each provides its own unique thrills and experiences. Snowboarders and skiers, climber, hikers and golfers will all find much to entertain them.
There are an array of dining options at the Omnia and, although the approach is relaxed, the food is exquisite. The restaurant serves up beautifully presented dishes that sing with local flavor, some designed with gourmets in mind, others simpler in their execution. Whether you choose Foie Gras and Truffle followed by Wagu Rib Eye steak, or a classic Waldorf Salad starter with a Weiner Schnitzel main, you’re guaranteed delicious dining.
