Love at First Sight
Boutique VILLA Torre Palazzone is designed to welcome groups of up to 22 people, with 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. The foundation began in the 13th century and this historic country property breathes character & nature. Come create your own journey with us whether you stay for 4 nights, one week or more. Together with family or friends, we help enhance any life celebration events whether it be a reunion, birthday, anniversary or a fairy tale wedding. The field of lavender or the medieval tower and its surroundings as your backdrop, they all light up your celebration.
Historically we've worked with week-long stays (Saturday to Saturday) that include 5 of chef service and daily breakfast service. (The cost of ingredients is not included, and you will be able to choose your meal menus that our Chef has prepared for you). Let's make this experience together. For stays less than a week, a minimum of 3-nights, the CHEF service is nightly. The price per night listed is our minimum nightly price with chef service included* (*menu ingredients are paid after a selection has been made). Small Wedding parties of less than 30 people a minimum stay of 3 nights. For wedding parties up to 60 people, a minimum stay of 4 nights. Preferably, your stay begins or ends on a Saturday.
The Castle Ground floor: Main entrance leads into lobby with contemporary metal stairs leading to first floor. To the left is a living room with a fireplace, billiard table, 4 armchairs and sofa with doors leading to terrace. Beyond is a fully equipped large contemporary kitchen with separate entrance and guest toilet. To the right of the lobby is an antechamber with ensuite / guest shower room, single bed and small day bed. Beyond is the air-conditioned double bedroom "Il Nicchio suite" with ensuite bathroom with a bath and access to the garden.
First floor: Up 18 steps from the landing. This floor is also accessible through 2 external staircases from the courtyard. Landing studio with desk. Air-conditioned double bedroom "Il Leocorno" with fireplace and ensuite bathroom with shower. Air-conditioned double bedroom "La Civetta" with ensuite bathroom with shower. Air-conditioned master double bedroom "L'Onda suite" and ensuite bathroom with shower and bath. Up 6 steps Torre Salon living room with historic fireplace, sofa and chairs, desk and large dining table. Exit to a small terrace with benches and has access to courtyard down uneven external staircase.
Torre Second floor: The tower, up 15 steps from the first floor Air-conditioned double (or twin) bedroom "La Selva" with ensuite bathroom with shower. Air-conditioned double bedroom "L'Istrice" with ensuite bathroom with shower.
Tower Third floor: The tower, up 14 steps from the second-floor Air-conditioned double (or twin) bedroom "L'Aquila" with ensuite bathroom with shower. Air-conditioned double bedroom "Il Drago" with ensuite bathroom with shower.
The Farmhouse Up 5 external steps, entrance from the courtyard. Lobby with three steps to "La Chiocciola" air-conditioned family bedroom (with two double beds) and access to a shared bathroom. To the right an entrance to a large open plan kitchen with fireplace and dining for 22 guests. Beyond the kitchen are air conditioned double (or twin) bedroom “Il Bruco” (bathroom shared with La Chiocciola) and air-conditioned double bedroom "La Lupa" with ensuite bathroom.
The Estate The property is situated 400m back from the road in a 40-acre estate, with gardens, lavender field, olive groves and woodlands. There are many seating areas including the courtyard between the castle and the farmhouse, enclosed by a medieval wall. There is also a shady dining area under a pergola, close to the wood-fired pizza oven and gas BBQ with bar area. Steps lead to the fenced fan shaped swimming pool (10m x 10m) with enclosed paddling area for children, contemporary sun loungers and large umbrellas. To the front of the property is a large terrace with further seating and dining areas and a granary with loggia bar area (available for events). From there, a shady garden leads back to the bocce pitch and covered table-tennis area close to the pergola dining area. The estate is surrounded by protected national forests with hiking and cycling trails leaving directly from the property. Our next-door neighbours are a winery so we can arrange tours and wine tastings within walking distance.
Facilities TV with Google chrome and various games consoles. Washing machine, iron and ironing board (laundry service also available). Dishwasher. Spin dryer. Ping-pong table. Pool table. IPod docking station. Central heating. Heated pool. Four working fireplaces. Wood oven. BBQ. Wireless internet (computer not provided). Two well-equipped kitchens with coffee machines (capsules included), kettle, toasters, food processors etc. Hairdryers and toiletries supplied in every bedroom. Towels and pool towels included.
Location A 5-minute drive, 10-minute cycle or 30-minute walk from the village of Sovicille with shops, pharmacy, cafes and restaurant. 20-minute drive from Siena, a medieval city and UNESCO world heritage site. Just over an hour from Florence historic city center and airport.

Romance begins while organizing your wedding event on Torre Palazzone's fairy tale property. Whether we help you design your special moment near our lavender field, in our courtyard, among the olive trees, or on fairy-light lit terrace, our environment and personnel are available to help a Tuscan Romance come true. Wedding maintenance service fee of 3000€. For stays of 4 nights, 4 nights of chef service is included in the 4-night stay price.
