This is an example of one of our recommended wedding itineraries in Costa Rica.
Day 1
Welcome to your Costa Rica wedding escape! Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport by our friendly representative, who’ll transport you to your hotel in the mountains of Alajuela.
Xandari Hotel is a 4-star mountain resort boasting a forest reserve, nature trails, waterfalls and a rejuvenating spa.
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast on your private terrace with incredible views of the valley before embarking on a day tour exploring the beauty of the Poas Volcano, the natural beauty of the La Paz waterfalls and the journey of our famous coffee.
After exploring the Doka coffee estate, you’ll head to Poas Volcano and Botos Lagoon, sitting 8,800 feet above sea level, followed by lunch at La Paz and a walk through the trails of La Paz Waterfall Gardens.
Overnight at Xandari Resort
Day 3
Enjoy pre-wedding relaxation with a day tour to the private resort Punta Leona. With beautiful white sand beach at Playa Blanca and the azure Pacific waters, it’s the perfect way to relax and recharge ahead of your big day. Enjoy lunch at Punta Leona before heading back to Xandari Resort.
Day 4
Your big day is here! Say your vows poolside with breath-taking views of the mountains, or even in the rainforest with a waterfall backdrop, the choice is yours. Celebrate your vows with a lavish reception on the manicured gardens, before heading back to your suite for your first night as a married couple.
Day 5
Enjoy a relaxed morning at Xandari before departing (or perhaps even continuing on your honeymoon), and enjoy the many treatments on offer at the Spa Village, sit poolside with a fruity drink, or meander together through the fruit orchard and private trails.
