Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha (The Tranquil Beginning) Arrive in Nairobi, met by your Avadan Safaris representative, and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha. Check in to your lakeside lodge and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. Afternoon romantic boat ride on Lake Naivasha among hippos and vibrant birdlife, ending with a peaceful lakeshore walk at sunset. Evening at leisure with a cosy dinner overlooking the lake, perfect for your first honeymoon night in Africa.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara (Into the Wild) Breakfast with lake views before departing for the Masai Mara, Kenya’s iconic safari destination. Arrive in time for lunch at your luxury tented camp. Afternoon game drive, seeking lions, elephants, cheetahs, and giraffes as the golden light paints the plains. Sundowner drinks followed by a private candlelit bush dinner under the stars, with the sounds of the Mara’s nocturnal life around you.

Day 3: Masai Mara (A Day of Magic) Early morning OPTIONAL hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara, with breathtaking sunrise views and a champagne breakfast in the bush. Return for leisure time at camp or an optional couples’ massage. Afternoon game drive exploring different areas of the reserve, focusing on wildlife photography and intimate wildlife encounters. Sundowners on a scenic hill before a romantic fireside dinner.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Serengeti (Crossing Borders) After breakfast, transfer to the Isebania border (with a packed picnic) to enter Tanzania and the Serengeti National Park. Game drive en route to your lodge, arriving in time to freshen up and enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the endless plains. Dinner and storytelling by the fire, surrounded by the Serengeti’s timeless wilderness.

Day 5: Serengeti (Endless Plains, Endless Love) Full-day Serengeti game drives, exploring its vast savannahs and riverine landscapes, tracking the Big Five and witnessing the rhythms of wildlife. Enjoy a romantic bush picnic under an acacia tree, sharing quiet moments as zebra and antelope graze nearby. Return to camp for a relaxed evening with starlit dining.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro (Garden of Eden) Early morning game drive in the Serengeti as the sunrise bathes the landscape. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at Olduvai Gorge for a brief historical visit if desired. Arrive at your crater-view lodge, where you can enjoy sunset views over the caldera followed by a private dinner with crater views.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire (Among Giants) Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive, witnessing dense wildlife in this breathtaking ecosystem. Picnic lunch by a hippo pool inside the crater. In the afternoon, proceed to Tarangire National Park, famous for its baobabs and elephants. Evening relaxation and dinner at your lodge, with the sounds of the bush surrounding you.

Day 8: Tarangire – Amboseli (Under Kilimanjaro’s Gaze) Morning game drive in Tarangire, capturing elephants and birdlife framed by ancient baobabs. Drive to the Namanga border and re-enter Kenya, heading to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at your lodge with views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and enjoy a sunset game drive. Dinner overlooking the plains and Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peaks.

Day 9: Amboseli (Romance & Wildlife) Early morning game drive with the backdrop of Kilimanjaro, perfect for photography. Return for breakfast and relaxation by the pool or optional Maasai village visit for a cultural experience. Afternoon game drive focusing on elephants, lions, and giraffes, concluding with a private sundowner setup in the park. Final honeymoon dinner under the African sky.

Day 10: Amboseli – Nairobi – Departure (A Journey to Remember) Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with Kilimanjaro views. Final short morning game drive if time permits. Transfer to Nairobi, arriving in time for your onward international departure, with your hearts full of memories from your romantic African adventure.

Package Policies

Accommodation, meals, game drives, park fees, transfers, and listed activities are included in the package price unless stated otherwise.

International flights, visas, travel insurance, gratuities, and personal expenses are not included unless specified.

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

The remaining balance is due 45 days before the arrival date.

Payments can be made via bank transfer or secure online payment links; any bank charges incurred are the client’s responsibility.

Free cancellation up to 60 days before the arrival date (minus bank and admin fees).

Cancellations made 45–59 days before arrival incur a 30% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made 30–44 days before arrival incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and baggage loss is strongly recommended and is the client’s responsibility to obtain.

Any amendments to booking dates are subject to availability and may incur additional costs from accommodation or activity providers.

Park fees and taxes are included in the package; however, increases imposed by authorities after booking confirmation may result in additional charges, which will be communicated in advance.

Special dietary requirements, room decorations for honeymoons, or other special requests should be communicated at the time of booking or as early as possible.

Children are welcome, but age restrictions may apply for certain camps or activities; please inquire during booking for clarification.

Avadan Safaris reserves the right to modify the itinerary in case of unforeseen circumstances, ensuring comparable alternatives are provided to maintain the experience quality.
