Day 1: A warm welcome in the Kingdom of Wonder & Love: Cambodia!

Your holiday with your loved one will start in romantic Siem Reap, home of the mystical Angkor temples. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to the luxury of the Phum Baitong Resort. Nestled in the rice paddies just out of the center, this tranquil hotel is the perfect venue for a romantic getaway. During a welcome drink one of our team will give you a briefing about Cambodia and the fantastic honeymoon trip that awaits you.

What could be better than beginning your holiday with a special monk blessing? At sunset cocktails will be delivered to your room and then you can enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner under the stars in the tropical grounds of your hotel.

Day 2: Relaxing Day and High Class Food Tour

Wake up to an appetizing breakfast and spend your day lazing by the crystal clear pool, being pampered by Cambodian hospitality. Whenever you are ready you can enjoy a romantic couple’s massage in the hotel’s spa. There is no better way to relax.

Dinner tonight will be a completely unique experience. Why go to one top class restaurant when you can go to three? Starting at the charming Mie Café for your starter, you will then be transferred by tuk-tuk to The Sugar Palm where legendary Chef Kathana will prepare a deliciously authentic main course. Your final stop for the evening dinner tour will be the famous Malis restaurant, a stalwart of the Siem Reap dining scene for many years. Here you will enjoy a delicious dessert in a truly cosmopolitan setting.

Day 3: Fall in love! Stunning Angkor Wat Temples, private picnic & Vintage Citroën

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide in a Vintage Citroën to explore one of the largest and most beautiful temple complexes in the world, Angkor Wat. This world heritage site originates from the 12th century and provides a mystical experience of beautiful sculptures and stunning architecture.

First, you will visit the splendid Angkor Wat temple itself where you can explore the wonderful site with all of its majesty. After a short refreshment break, you will take a short drive to Angkor Thom, which contains, among others, the spectacular 12th century Bayon. The 54 four-headed Buddha statues are one of the most impressive sights of the temple complex and provide exceptional photo opportunities.

After a secluded picnic lunch between the temples, we will visit the Ta Phrom. This iconic temple remains partly overgrown with trees and gigantic roots, that have ‘nestled’ themselves on and in the stone blocks, making a truly striking visual image. After a long, rewarding day, you’ll return to your hotel to relax during a 60 minutes aromatherapy massage.

Day 4: Love is in the air!

Love is in the air! In the morning you will see Angkor from a different perspective. With a private helicopter you will fly along the moat of the magnificent Angkor Wat temple and appreciate the size and beauty of this archaeological wonder. The flight also takes in views of Phnom Bok, the Rolous group and the unique floating village on the shores of the Tonle Sap Lake. The view from here will be too spectacular for you to be able to spare time looking into y our partners eyes, but there will be plenty of time for that later!

After this unforgettable experience you will go on an adventure in a vintage jeep to the beautiful countryside, along red soil roads and through small villages. Your tour guide will give you an intimate tour so you can learn more about the daily life of the locals, and have the opportunity to ask any questions you like.

In the evening you will visit Phare, The Cambodian Circus, which tells uniquely Cambodian tales using modern circus arts and high energy music, touching on themes strong in Cambodian traditions, ethos and spirit. The performances mix theatre, music, dance, acrobatics, juggling, aerial acts, fire and contortion with an explosion of virtuosity and sensitivity. During the hour-long shows, the Phare performers share their emotions and excitement, blowing the audience away with their integrity and power.

Day 5: Flight to Phnom Penh & romantic sunset cruise

Today the bustling capital city of Phnom Penh awaits you, travelling in comfort by plane of course! The city is in progress of becoming a modern metropolis, yet retaining much of its majestic and romantic old world charm. You will stay in the majestic Raffles Hotel Phnom Penh, where you can step back in time in this beautiful colonial building. Steeped in history, the Raffles Hotel (in its previous incarnation as The Grand) was both a refuge for foreigners escaping the Khmer Rouge when they first occupied Phnom Penh, and subsequently served as a command center for the higher ranked Khmer Rouge cadres. These days, it provides luxury, relaxation and tranquility in the heart of the city. The perfect place for you to continue your honeymoon.

Late afternoon you will be given the wonderful opportunity to experience a completely different view of Phnom Penh’s beautiful skyline. Embarking on a cruise on the mighty Mekong River, you will get a close view of the traditional villages opposite the modern skyscrapers, before turning back towards the city and, hopefully, watch an unforgettable sunset as you sip on a cocktail.

Day 6: A Tour through the City

In the morning, a traditional Khmer Cyclo (bicycle powered tuk-tuk) will take you to the Royal Palace, where you can admire the spectacular ancient Khmer architecture. Afterwards you will visit Wat Phnom, where the name Phnom Penh derives from. This pagoda stands on a 35 meter high hill surrounded by trees where monkeys play in the shade. Afterwards you will ride by tuk-tuk to the Genocide Museum of Tuol Sleng, before continuing to Choeung Ek, better known as Killing Fields, where thousands of people were tortured and buried in mass graves. While disturbing, these sites offer you an insight into the country’s troubled past, enabling you to understand more about how far the wonderful people of this country have come.

Day 7: Royal Spa Experience

After so much excitement you deserve a restful day. Relax at the pools and enjoy each other’s company.

A special face and body treatment, which combines all elements of the perfect spa experience awaits for you. Enjoy a mineral salt scrub to exfoliate and nourish dry skin and indulge in the authentic Khmer massage which helps to restore energy levels, relive muscle tension and relax the mind and body with a heated herbal compress. The treatment will end with a relaxing facial.

A romantic dinner will be served at the famous Cuts Restaurant, located atop the Rosewood hotel, the highest restaurant in Phnom Penh. It offers magnificent vistas of Phnom Penh and a stunning view of the mighty Mekong River as it meanders through the city. Cuts combines top of the range dishes served in a relaxed, stylish dining room, ensuring your great dinner in Phnom Penh will be one to remember.

Day 8: Wild by name, wild by nature…

You will be taken out of the hustle and bustle of the city to Kirirom National Park, a truly stunning area of Cambodia. Here you will stay in one of the most unique hotels in the world; Shinta Mani Wild. However, before experiencing its wonder, you have to get there! This is done by clipping yourself onto a zipline and literally flying into the complex. A thrilling start to what will be a hotel stay impossible to forget. Shinta Mani Wild is a spectacular combination of world-class design, hospitality and conservation. Developed when world renowned designer Bill Bensley learned about this stunning location and wanted to protect it from development and poaching so developed a stunning luxury camp. It would be hard to find a better combination of luxury in nature anywhere else in the world.

The 100 Sq. meter tents, which perch above the river's swiftly moving waters like giant resting birds. 'Tent' doesn't quite cut it: these adventurous, Bill Bensley-designed sleeping quarters have a deck with a river-spying bathtub, an ensuite bathroom and a wild-at-heart bedroom with a king-size bed. Each tent is uniquely decorated with its own colorful Cambodian design scheme and is adorned with antique curios, vintage books and custom-made furniture.

This setting will provide the perfect location for you to unwind from your journey. During the afternoon you can relax in luxury listening to the water in the river flowing by, slowly becoming accustomed to the beauty and simplicity of this beautiful area. A delicious, gourmet dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 9: Pure Glamping!

After a hearty breakfast, you will have the opportunity to get even closer to the nature that surrounds this magnificent hotel. Shinta Mani Wild works closely with the non-profit Wildlife Alliance, who help preserve Cambodia’s nature and wildlife and nature from poaching. The camp funds an on-site ranger station which works hard to protect the local nature and wildlife. You will have the chance to visit this station in the morning, and learn more about the daily challenges the staff face to protect this area. After this fascinating introduction, you will head out with the rangers on one of their daily patrols, looking for traps, snares and signs of poaching. The beauty of the area is absolutely awe inspiring and if you are lucky you may get to see some of the local wildlife.

After returning to the hotel after a long, educational and inspiring day, you will have the chance to rest, perhaps enjoy a cocktail or cold beer. At dinner you will have another chance to experience the delicious food prepared by Chef Kian who will use a selection of indigenous herbs and spiced, plucked from the hotel garden. A truly unique, relaxing and special experience.

Day 10: Foraging and Cooking Class Nothing gets you closer to any culture that to throw yourself into its food! Today you have the opportunity to join one of the chefs on a foraging expedition for traditional herbs, fruits, roots, ants, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and much more. You will be amazed at actually how much of the jungle you can eat. Back at the Headquarters you can cook up your findings in Shinta Mani Wild’s simple but spotless kitchen, before sitting down and enjoying your meal. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure, either take it easy in your spectacular tent, walk the reserve or even kayak down the river. The choice is yours, it’s your special trip!

Day 11: From Kirirom to the Royal Sands Resort

After 3 days at this most stunning place, it is time to move on to another gem in a totally different location. Out of the jungle you will travel to one of the most pristine beaches on the amazing tropical island of Koh Rong, which is also home to exotic waterfalls and wonderful hilltop views. After travelling by car and boat you will arrive at a 5 star luxury resort where you can experience the beauty and calm of an island paradise. From strolls along the beach, sunbathing on the golden sand or swimming in the crystal clear waters, arriving here will show that Cambodia really does have it all!

Day 14: The end & the start of a new chapter!

This trip is sure to have given you so many fantastic and romantic memories. Unfortunately, all good things come to and end, and a private transferwill take you to Sihanoukville Airport for your flight to Siem Reap to catch your flight back home.

Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be indicated in written form to the travel agency. The cancellation fee varies depending on how many days before the departure it was issued: • More than 30 days prior travel departure: 25% of the total fare • Between 30 and 22 days prior travel departure: 45% of the total fare • Between 21 and 8 days prior travel departure: 80% of the total fare • Between 7 and 3 days prior travel departure: 90% of the total fare • Less than 3 days prior the departure or after the date of departure: 100% of the total fare

If the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gives negative travel advice, which in turn results in the traveler cancelling the trip, the travel agency will do everything they can to reduce the cancellation fee.
