One of the most magical and mystical tours is to Machu Picchu in the Andres Mountains, just above the Urubamba River Valley. It was built in the 15th century and was subsequently abandoned, leaving its sophisticated dry-stone walls of huge pieces of rock, perched high atop the mountain, with panoramic views over the land. Its former purpose and use has never been discovered, making it a source of much mystery and intrigue, where people ponder what might have been those many moons ago...

The Sacred Valley Tour is one of the most popular tours. It starts in the archaeological site of Pisaq, followed by Pisaq's famous market, where you can buy everything from delicious local delicacies to endless colourful spices, traditional fabrics to exotic fruits and vegetables, and delightful souvenirs, so that you can take home mementos of your trip. The tour also includes lunch at a recommended restaurant, before heading towards Ollantaytambo, ending in the Sacred Valley in Chinchero.
