DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: MARRAKECH

Welcome to Morocco! Be sure to arrive in time for your pre-departure meeting at 6:00pm, an arrival transfer from Marrakech airport is included on day 1. Your first night will be spent at our pre-expedition hotel. Tonight we enjoy a traditional dinner in the hotel. Overnight Marrakech

DAY 2: MARRAKECH TO RABAT:

En-route this morning we travel up to Casablanca made famous by Humphrey Bogart in the film“Casablanca”. We will visit the stunning Hassan 2 Mosque, which has the tallest minaret and the third largest mosque in the world - it can hold 25,000 worshippers at any one time afterwards we travel to the capital of Morocco Rabat for Overnight.

DAY 3 : RABAT TO FES:

Today in Rabat we visit the highlights of the city which are the Hassan tower, chellah ruins and Royal Palace. Moving on to the imperial city of Fes, we make a lunch stop in Meknes, also known as the Versailles of Morocco Surrounded by fertile ground, coupled with its impressive buildings and history, we can see why Meknes is one of the four Imperial Cities of Morocco. We’ll then move on to bustling Fes this afternoon stopping on route in Volubilis for a guided tour.

DAY 4: FES

Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. Its medina is a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights. To navigate, we are going to follow our local guide who knows every alley in the medina. There are plenty of mosques and palaces to visit, but be aware that only Muslims can enter Mosques in Morocco. After exploring dye-pits, tanneries and restaurants, we return to our hotel to prepare for an optional night of Moroccan entertainment and food at a restaurant in town. Overnight in Fes (B)

DAY 5: FES TO MIDELT.

This morning we journey over the Moyen Atlas to stop at Midelt, which is a beautiful alpine area. Surrounded by huge pine trees, this tranquil mountain setting is a great spot to cool down and relax after the hustle and bustle of Fes. We will enjoy a small hike in the afternoon, before spending the night in this mountain location. Overnight Midelt(B, D)

DAY 6: MIDELT TO SAHARA DESERT (Erg Chebbi)

Today we enjoy a stunning drive and are rewarded by a fantastic Moroccan lunch and an afternoon relaxing and swimming. It is then time to head towards the great desert and Merzouga, where we transfer to camels for a trek into the Sahara Desert for a night at our Berber Camp. We enjoy local food, music and an amazing night out under the Saharan stars. Overnight Berber camp.

DAY 7 : SAHARA TO TOUDRA GORGES:

Leaving the desert, we move on to Todra Gorge. This 1000ft gorge is hemmed in on all sides by vertical limestone cliffs and is also called Morocco’s Grand Canyon. We will have an early lunch at the Berber co-operative where you can see and buy authentic, Berber handmade rugs, kilims and carpets. The afternoon can be spent exploring the Gorge, walking through the Palmerie or trying our optional activity of Rock Climbing. The charm of Todra lies in its changing colours as the sun slowly moves from east to west. Overnight Todra Gorge (B,D).

DAY 8 : TOUDRA TO AIT BENHADDOU:

We must bid fond farewell to Todra this morning en-route to Ait Benhaddou via Ouazazate. We will stop for lunch along the way and have a chance for an optional tour of the Film studios in Ouazazate, famous for films such as Gladiators, The Last Temptation of Christ and the Living daylights. On a hill along the Ouarzazate River we find Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which boasts great examples of Kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. This afternoon we have a guided tour of the famous Kasbah and village. Overnight Ait Benhaddou (B,D)

DAY 9 AIT BENHADDOU TO MARRAKECH:

We traverse the High Atlas today enjoying stunning views en-route to Marrakech. We will take a guided tour of the city this afternoon (optional from 2018). Marrakech set against the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Its great pride and landmark is the Koutoubia Tower, sister to the Tower of Hassan in Rabat and the Giralda Tower in Seville. It is said that after the third of these was completed, the sultan had the eyes of his architect put out, lest he should build another more beautiful tower elsewhere. No visit to the city is complete without a visit to the city’s UNESCO-listed medina & Djemâa-el-Fna, an extraordinary gathering and market place. The rest of the afternoon you have free time to relax by the pool or do a little shopping for souvenirs before we meet for the last group evening meal. Overnight Marrakech.

DAY 10 DEPARTURE

Your adventure tour ends after breakfast. Spend the morning buying souveniers before check out at midday.

Package Policies

Reservation & Payment

For standard bookings, a non-refundable deposit of £60 per person is required. All bookings will be confirmed by Easygo Tours in writing by email to the lead passenger along with confirmation of balance payment details. The tour balance for all bookings will be direct debited from the payment details given at the time of booking 60 days prior to the departure date of the tour; if there is a failure to complete the payment Easygo Tours reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

Validity

Dates, itineraries and prices are valid as on Easygo Tours website & brochure latest edition valids until 31 December 2018. In case of any unforseen weather conditions and circumstances, e.g. storms, strike, accidents etc and for the safety of our customers, Easygo Tours reserve the right to replace any of the facilities, services, accommodations, itineraries or vehicles to other alternatives, without being liable for compensation or refund.

Cancellation by the Passenger

Cancellations must be made by the passenger by email to EasyGo Tours prior to the tour departure to be confirmed as cancelled.

Cancellations within the balance payment period (60-0 days prior to departure) are as follows:

60 days or more prior to departure, deposit to be retained by Easygo Tours 59-30 days 70% of tour fee is forfeited 29-15 days 85% of tour fee is forfeited 14-0 days 100% of tour fee is forfeited、 Cancellation by Easygo Tours.

Easygo Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour in case of low booking (less than 2 people) and force majeure, or if the Client fails to pay the final balance. Easygo Tours will inform customers or travel agents of such cancellation is required.

EasyGo Tours will not cancel a tour less than 42 days before departure

Travel Insurance

The passenger accepts that the cost of the tour does not include insurance & it is mandatory that all passengers obtain travel insurance while travelling with Easygo Tours covering personal injury, medical, repatriation, and evacuation expenses. Passengers must be able to provide proof of adequate insurance cover purchased if requested by the group leader or Easygo Tours representative. It is strongly recommended the coverage be extended to include cancellation, curtailment, and all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience occurring to the passenger.

Easygo Tours do not accept liability for loss, theft of, or damage to baggage or personal effects. Personal belongings lost or stolen while unattended by the passenger in public lounges or other public areas, whether on board a vessel, train, bus, or other mode of transportation, publicly owned or operated by Easygo Tours or elsewhere, are not reimbursable. Losses due to ordinary wear and tear or acts of God are not reimbursable. Easygo Tours will not accept responsibility for, and in no event shall be liable for loss or damage of valuables or other articles left in or on facilities used by Easygo Tours such as hotels, vessels, expedition vehicles, or any other mode of transportation. When obtaining travel insurance the passenger must ensure the insurer is aware of the type of travel to be undertaken.

Changes of itinerary during the tour

It may be necessary, sometimes at short notice, to make changes to an itinerary due to weather, traffic , road conditions or vehicle breakdown. Every effort will be made to rectify such issues or provide safe alternatives as quickly as possible. Easy Go Tours do accept any responsibility for delays caused by such situations.

Illness or Disability

Anyone suffering from illness or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking and make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment required during the tour. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these Booking Conditions and may result in such persons being excluded from the tour in which case all monies paid will be forfeited and the Company will not be liable to pay any compensation whatsoever.

For persons with pre-existing conditions including but not limited to: illness, diabetes, pregnancy, asthma, gastric reflux, cancer, heart problems, epilepsy, respiratory or mobility problems you should visit a doctor for a personal medical examination obtaining a medical clearance that certifies you as fully able to participate in the tour as described within the company literature specific to your tour or tailored arrangements prior to booking.

Complaints

In the event of any dissatisfaction with any service provided by Easygo Tours, You must report it immediately to the Trip Leader so that action can be taken to remedy the problem. Failure to notify the Trip Leader of any problem immediately may prejudice Easygo Tours and may result in your ability to claim compensation from us being extinguished or reduced. Any complaint made to Easygo Tours following the conclusion of the trip should be made in writing by email within 28 days of completion of the trip. In the event that You do not notify us in writing within 28 days, Easygo Tours’s ability to investigate the complaint may be prejudiced and may extinguish your claim. We are a Member of Travel association in morocco, We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you.

Visas & Travel Documentation.

It is passenger’s responsibility to obtain any visas, passports, health certificates or other travel documentation required. It remains the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that these documents are in order and meet any additional costs incurred as a result of failure to comply with such requirements.

Age & Health

Passengers under 18 years old are not permitted on Easygo TOURS tours except for travelling with parents on specific Family Tours or tours orgnised for schools. All passengers are expected to be certain that prior to travel that they are fit and able to complete the itinerary of their chosen tour as described in our website.

Privacy Policy

In order to process your booking, Easygo Tours need to collect certain personal details from you. These details will usually include the names and addresses of party members, special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition that may affect the holiday arrangements. We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information.

We must pass some information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements (hotels, transport etc.). The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law.
