Program 9 Days 8 Nights Cairo - Luxor & Aswan (Nile Cruise)

Day 1; Cairo / Arrival Arrival Cairo, Meet and assist, transfer from Cairo airport to your selected hotel, overnight stay in Cairo

Day 2; Cairo After breakfast, pick up with our guide and driver; depart to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt to see the biggest statue in Egypt. Over 800 tons, and made from a single piece of rock, and the famous alabaster sphinx, then to Saqqara where stands the Step Pyramid which is the first pyramid built in Egypt by king Zoser in 2800 B.C. After lunch the tour continues to the Giza Pyramids, which have been considered one of the great wonders of the world, Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx which which has kept its secrets for centuries. Transfer to Giza rail station overnight in sleeper train to Luxor. *Or transfer to Cairo Airport, Flight to Luxor, with extra charge.

Day 3; Nile Cruise Arrival Luxor, Meet and transfer to your cruise, embarkation start the visit of west bank Valley of the Kings. Valley of the queens. the temple of Hatshepsut and colossi of Memnon. Back to your cruise. Afternoon (optional excursion for sound & light show at Karnak temple) Full board basis aboard of Nile Cruise.

Day 4; Nile Cruise After breakfast start the tour the east bank with a visit of Luxor temple originally joined to Karnak by an avenue of sphinxes. Visit Karnak temple which covers a huge area and includes several temples, the largest being the temple of Amon. afternoon Sailing to Esna and stay overnight Full board basis aboard of Nile Cruise.

Day 5; Nile Cruise Early morning start sailing to Edfou where you will visit the extraordinary temple of hours the mythical son of Isis and Osiris, here according to myth, Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by defeating his father's brother Seth in combat. Sail on to Kom Ombo the temple the only temple which dedicated to two gods in the same time Sobek and Haroeris this temple has a particular appeal because of its situation close to the bank of the river Nile. Day 6; Nile Cruise Visit the High Dam - finished in 1971; it has ensured up to three harvests a year. The unfinished obelisk - still rooted to the bedrock of granite and the temple of Isis on Phila Island, Full board basis aboard of Nile Cruise.

Day 7 Relax and enjoy a trip in traditional felucca around Elephantine Island which will lead you to the Botanical Gardens on general Kitchener Island. Visitors there enjoy the beautiful flowers imported from Africa, India and the far east. Day 8; Cairo Arrival Cairo by train, Meet and assist, Pick up with our guide and driver; to visit the Egyptian Museum containing over 120000 pieces of pharaonic history, each piece is considered a masterpiece and has a different story including the magnificent Tutankhamen collection. After lunch the tour continues to The Citadel, a fortress built in 1167 A.D, and houses important monuments including the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali and El Gawhara palace, then the day finishes with the visit of Khan El Khalili bazaars. Transfer to your hotel, Overnight in Cairo.

Day 9; Cairo / Departure Check out from hotel, transfer to Cairo international airport and the final departure.
