Cairo - Aswan - Luxor – Hurghada

Day 1; Cairo / Arrival Meet and assist transfer from Cairo airport to your selected hotel, dinner and overnight stay in Cairo

Day 2; Cairo After breakfast, pick up with our guide and driver; depart to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt to see the biggest statue in Egypt. Over 800 tons, and made from a single piece of rock, and the famous alabaster sphinx, then to Saqqara where stands the Step Pyramid which is the first pyramid built in Egypt by king Zoser in 2800 B.C. After lunch the tour continues to the Giza Pyramids, which have been considered one of the great wonders of the world, Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx which which has kept its secrets for centuries. Back to hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3; Cairo After breakfast; pick up with our guide and driver; to visit the Egyptian Museum containing over 120000 pieces of pharaonic history, each piece is considered a masterpiece and has a different story including the magnificent Tutankhamen collection. After lunch the tour continues to The Citadel, a fortress built in 1167 A.D, and houses important monuments including the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali and El Gawhara palace, then the day finishes with the visit of Khan El Khalili bazaars. Transfer to Giza rail station overnight in sleeper train to Aswan. *Or transfer to Cairo Airport, Flight to Luxor, with extra charge.

Day 4; Aswan Arrival Aswan, Meet and transfer to your cruise, visit of the High Dam - finished in 1971; it has ensured up to three harvests a year. The unfinished obelisk - still rooted to the bedrock of granite and the temple of Isis on Phila Island, afternoon Relax and enjoy a trip in traditional felucca around Elephantine Island which will lead you to the Botanical Gardens on general Kitchener Island. Visitors there enjoy the beautiful flowers imported from Africa, India and the Far East. Overnight in hotel in Aswan.

Day 5; Nile Cruise An optional excursion to the ancient wonder of Abu Simbel by air or by bus, Back to Aswan, Transfer to your cruise, embarkation, in your cruise Lunch on board, sailing to Kom Ombo, arrival, departure to visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris, then continue sailing to Edfu, diner and overnight at Edfu. Full board basis abord of Nile Cruise.

Day 6; Nile Cruise Early morning, departure by calash to visit the Temple of Horus, the mythical son of Isis and Osiris. Here according to myth, Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by defeating his father's brother Seth in combat. Sailing to Esna and continue to Luxor. Diner and over night on board. Full board basis abord of Nile Cruise.

Day 7; Nile Cruise After breakfast, departure to visit the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon lunch aboard. Afternoon at leisure. Diner and overnight aboard. (Optional excursion for sound and light show at Karnak temple) Full board basis abord of Nile Cruise.

Day 8; Louxor / Hurghada After breakfast, departure to visit to the east bank Luxor Temple, originally joined to Karnak by an avenue of sphinxes. Visit Karnakwhich covers a huge area and includes several temples, the largest being the temple of Amon, afternoon disembarkation, transfer to Hurghada , arrival to your hotel.
