7 DAYS HONEYMOON SAFARI
This safari takes you to four of the best national parks in Tanzania.
The Serengeti National Park is justifiably famous for its huge concentrations of wildlife, especially the big cats, as well as being the stomping ground of the Great Migration, a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretching their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival.
The Ngoro Ngoro Crater is the world's largest intact caldera in an exceptional geographical position, forming a spectacular bowl of about 265 sq. km with sides up to 600m deep. It is home to as many as 20,000 to 30,000 wild animals at any given time.
The last national park on your itinerary is the Tarangire National Park, one of the more seasonal parks of Tanzania that boasts of great migratory movement and is a haven for bird lovers. The park also offers stunning scenery with its baobab-dotted landscape and presents a breath-taking concentration of elephants during the dry season.

Day 1 Arusha – Tarangire National Park In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel to start your safari to the Tarangire National Park. Bush savannah, seasonal swamps and giant baobab trees make up the landscape of this nature reserve and the park is probably one of the best places in East Africa to see elephants. Not only they are found in thousands but also they seem to be more accustomed to the vehicles, and for this you can be closer to these gigantic animals. It is not only the elephants rather a varied numbers of animals such as to Masai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons and more than 500 types of birds make this the one stop solution for both the bird and the animal lovers. After the game drive you will leave the park in the late afternoon and drive to the lodge for your overnight stay.
Game viewing time: 6-7 hours Overnight at: Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge Meals:Lunch &Dinner Day 2 Tarangire National Park - Lake Natron After breakfast you will leave the area around Tarangire National Park and head to the multicultural village of Mto wa Mbu. From here you will travel on a spectacular and very bumpy gravel road along the Rift Valley Escarpment with Ol Doinyo Lengai “the holy mountain” of the Masai in the distance. Today’s destination is the typical Masai village of Ngare Sero in the hot and dusty Rift Valley. From a distance you might be getting to see the pick glow of the flamingoes while breeding and feeding and with the going down of the sun you will join a Masai guide on a walk to a nearby waterfall. After enjoying the beauty of the nature here you would return to the lodge for the dinner and the overnight stay.
Game viewing time: 6-7 hours Overnight at: Africa Safari Lake Natron Meals:Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 3 Lake Natron - Serengeti National Park After an early start, you will travel along adventurous dirt tracks with breath-taking views as your vehicle climbs out of the Rift Valley to reach the grassy plains of the Serengeti by midday. In Massai Serengeti means “endless plains” and truly you would find the grassland savannah stretching here to the horizon with the dotted grazing animals. Serengeti is a must sought park for anyone planning for Tanzania. Because , I is the park , where the greatest wonder of the world “ The Annual migration of wild beasts “ is conducted in which millions of the animals march in quest of fresh pasture and water without caring for their life and even the life of their calves. After your game viewing you will overnight at your lodge in the northern of the park.
Game viewing time: 6-7 hours Overnight at: Lahia Tented Lodge or Kubukubu Tented Lodge Meals:Breakfast, Lunch &Dinner Day 4 Serengeti National Park After the breakfast proceed for game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible Lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. We will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the center in the shade of the giant acacia trees. In the afternoon we will follow the Kopje Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons – including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink!
Optional If you like to watch wildlife from another perspective, we recommend you to go on a balloon safari. It is an amazing experience to drift silently above the plains with herds of wildlife The hot-air balloon gently takes you up in the air and floats wherever the morning winds may take you. During the ride you have a stunning and far-reaching view of the great plains of the Serengeti. From here you can spot big herds of wildebeest, giraffes and prides of lion’s right below you. At the right time of year and with a good amount of luck you might even be able to experience the great migration from above.
Game viewing time: 6-7 hours Overnight at: Lahia Tented Lodge or Kubukubu Tented Lodge Meals:Breakfast, Lunch &Dinner Day 5 Serengeti National Park − Ngoro Ngoro Crater After breakfast, depart to Ngoro Ngoro Conservation Area. Stopover at Olduvai Gorge which boasts a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that the anthropologists, Dr Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of “Nutcracker Man” and “Handy Man” both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and then descend over 600m into the crater to view the wildlife for a half-day safari tour. Dinner and your overnight stay at Ngoro Ngoro

You might also see buffaloes, spotted hyenas and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch you will leave the crater in the afternoon to travel the lodge in Karatu.
Game viewing time: 6-7 hours Overnight at: Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge Meals:Breakfast, Lunch &Dinner Day 7 Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha The small Lake Manyara National Park is home to over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests and grassy plains. Apart from giraffes, hippos, wildebeests and impalas on the grassy plains, you might see lions lounging in the trees and elephants feeding on the acacias in the woodlands. While the forest near the lake is filled with noisy troops of blue monkeys, extended baboon families hang around the roads. After the game drive you will return to Moshi in the late afternoon.
