Package Policies

PRICE - All prices are quoted in US Dollars and must be paid in credit cards or wire transfer. All prices are based on costs at the time of publication. Ongeri Expeditions reserve the right to change the prices at any time before your booking is made. Ongeri Expeditions will conrm price changes, if any, together with our conrmation of your booking. PAYMENT - Upon receipt of tour conrmation, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of total tour charges shall become payable, the balance being due and payable 45 days prior to departure date. In the event of bookings being affected less than 60 days before departure, the full amount charged will forthwith be payable. Where credit cards are used, we impose a 3.9% charge as bank sufces charges. CANCELLATIONS - All cancellations must be in writing, via fax or mail and be acknowledged by Ongeri Expeditions. All Tours and Safaris have a 100% non-refundable deposit. The deposit is 50% of the total tour cost. All cancellations received in writing and agreed upon between the client and Ongeri Expeditions will receive the following refund: 55-49 days: 50 % refund of payment already made excluding non-refundable deposit 48-42 days: 25 % refund of payment already made excluding non-refundable deposit 41 days or less: 0 % refund of payment already made excluding non-refundable deposit No refund will be given to the following: • Itinerary Amended After Departure. • There will be no refunds from Ongeri Expeditions for any unused portions of the tour. • Lost Travel Time or Substitution of Facilities. • No tour refund is available should you fail to join a tour or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion. ITINERARY CHANGES - Please note that the itinerary we provide you with is an intended itinerary and may vary due to logistical reasons. We will strive to provide every activity on the itinerary or where possible we will replace the activity with a suitable substitution. TRAVEL INSURANCE - We strongly recommend that you take comprehensive insurance cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money, and public liability before you travel. We take no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred whilst you are taking part in any optional activities that are outside the services booked with us. We accept no responsibility for the theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings at any time during the duration of your safari. WEATHER CONDITIONS Under no circumstances can Ongeri Expeditions be held responsible for weather conditions that may affect the delivery and implementation of our itinerary. NO SMOKING POLICY We do not permit smoking on any of our vehicles. Some hotels/lodges and resorts do not allow smocking and so are some public areas you may be visiting while on safari with us. Please comply with the law at all areas you visit while on safari with us.
