It is often confused with a parachute but, in reality, it has nothing in common: parachuting involves a jump from an airplane, a few seconds of free fall and finally the opening of a parachuting sail which will cushion the descent to the ground… this is not flying!
Paragliding, on the other hand, flies like a glider, like a hang glider, being an airfoil it generates lift and can navigate for many kilometers and remain in flight from 20 minutes up to several hours; to take off you will not have to jump from any airplane but rather, on top of a sufficiently large and gently steep mountain (you don't start from cliffs!), firmly harnessed to one of our professional pilots, following 4 running steps you will find yourself, in a few seconds , to run in the sky: without any leap into the void, any special skills needed, any psychophysical stress... all responsibility for the outcome of the flight lies with the pilot.
The passenger will only have to sit back in his harness and enjoy the privileged view; from that moment the pilot will sail gently in the air like a sailboat sails gently cradled by the waves, looking for the thermal ascending currents that will allow you to travel several kilometers and stay in the air for as much as possible and in any case for at least 20 or 30 minutes. The paraglider is a flying vehicle in all respects: it does not proceed at the mercy of the wind but rather can be piloted and therefore proceeds and lands softly exactly where the pilot prefers.

TANDEM PARAGLIDING has more than 6000 passengers transported, all successfully, is made up of highly trained official professional pilots of the Aeroclub of Italy, constantly trained and updated, with over 25 years of impeccable experience, provides its service to all major tour operators and hotel facilities in Sicily; the equipment is replaced and serviced regularly and inspected after each flight.
What to Do
Can you fly every day? Yes, with favorable weather conditions, we operate 365 days a year
What are your hours? Operating from 9 am to sunset, we will agree on the right time for the flight based on your needs and based on the meteorological dictates of the day. The entire excursion takes about half a day, the aerial navigation lasts on average 20 minutes depending on the weather conditions of the day, it being understood that at any moment of the flight the pilot can reach the set landing in a few minutes.
Where do we start from? Various locations throughout Sicily including: San Vito Lo capo (Tp), Castellammare del Golpo (Tp), Fulgatore (Tp), Erice (TP), Palermo (Pa), Piana degli Albanesi (Pa), Bolognetta (Pa) , Cefalù (Pa), Finale di Pollina (Pa), San Giorgio di Gioiosa Marea (Me), Capo Calavà (ME), Piraino (Me)
Can we choose which place to leave from/which place to fly to? Alas, no: it is the wind that chooses where it is possible and where it is impossible to fly... we have the daily task of reading the specific weather forecasts and selecting the most suitable place for flying. So book the date of your flight and we will contact you the day before the date you have chosen to agree on the time and place of the appointment as close as possible to your location and compatibly with meteorological dictates.
Do we have to jump into the void? No, on a gentle slope we will take a run-up of a few steps, harnessed together with pilot and passenger, and during the race we will find ourselves without realizing it running in the air... gently entering flight like airplanes and not jumping like parachutists. Landing occurs in the same way by gently reaching the ground while gliding and not falling heavily like with a parachute
How much does it cost? €200 per person for the flight, transport from landing/meeting to take-off at the top of the chosen mountain with our own vehicles and the issuing of the air baptism certificate, €50 per person (optional) for the HD video of the The experience, filmed with 2 GOPRO cameras (also on-board) and 2 Insta360, is subsequently edited with the best images, visual effects, music, delivered later via email or digital support. €30 per person (optional) for the pick-up and drop-off shuttle service to and from your hotel/home/airport/port etc…
Can anyone fly? From the age of 7 (with parental authorization) up to the age at which walking is efficient, the following are excluded: epileptics, pregnant women, seriously injured lower limbs and spine.
