Romancin' Cape Town

3 Days in the Cape Winelands

Let us recommend the best tours and experiences of the Cape Winelands including...

Day Trip 1: An eBike adventure

Cycle through the historic town of Stellenbosch or Franschhoek, soaking up history from the late 1600’s. Visit a selection of wine estates for wine tasting, meals and a cellar tour. Get to taste Pinotage, a unique South African cultivar formed in 1925.

Day Trip 2 - Hop on Hop off wine tram

In Franschhoek choose from 8 different tram routes, each visiting a selection of wine estates. The experience includes a narration on the ‘French’ history of the valley and wine cultivation in the area. Either include a meal at one of the wine estates’ restaurants or a picnic on the lawns.

Day Trip 3 - Adventure at Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West

Start the day with a Vinfari, open safari vehicle through this magnificent property set against the backdrop of the Heldeberg Mountains or hike up the easy slopes, go clay pigeon shooting or out your hand to “padel tennis”. Midday lunch at the restaurant with an afternoon of “art jamming” using acrylic paint to put your day’s inspiration and creativity onto canvas.
