Day Trip 1 - Drive the peninsula
Start the day along the scenic Atlantic Seaboard through Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay to Hout Bay with the option for a Seal Island boat cruise to see a colony of Cape Fur Seals.
Continue along Chapmans Peak Drive, voted the most scenic coastal drive in the world, to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve to be photographed at the most SW tip of the African continent.
Next pop into Boulders Beach to view the cute but endangered African Penguin colony. We then continue through Simonstown with its British architecture to the cable station of Table Mountain, the most iconic mountain in the world, to enjoy seeing the sunset from 1067m above sea level.
Day Trip 2 - Helicopter ride
Depart from V&A Waterfront by helicopter, past the Twelve Apostle Mountains right down to the tip of the peninsula. On the way back, land on top of the mountain for a short walk to see the views on either side of the peninsula. This is followed by a romantic brunch with table and chairs set out just for you.
On the return flight see the back end of Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden. Afternoon time wandering around the V&A Waterfront soaking up the atmosphere before a sunset boat cruise from the harbour to Clifton Beach for sundowners on the boat.
Day Trip 3 - Motorbike around the peninsula
This can be done either by hiring a motorbike and self-bike the peninsula or enjoy a guided trip on a motor bike with a side car. Depart the city via the Atlantic Seaboard through the coastal suburbs of Clifton, Camps Bay & Hout Bay. After Hout Bay, head over Chapmans Peak Drive through Noordhoek, Oceanview & Scarborough and on to the Cape of Good Hope.
Next onto Boulders penguin colony via Smitswinkel and the False Bay coastal road. Then head out along the coast via Simon's Town, Fish Hoek to Kalk Bay. Enjoy a seafood lunch in Kalk Bay harbour.
After lunch, head over the scenic Boyes Drive above Muizenberg, famous for it's surfing waves, and on to the Constantia Winelands district. Choose a wine estate to experience some wine tasting before heading back to the city.
