Enchanting husband and wife team Sarah and Stefano invite you on a sensual journey of Italy and France, that will both excite your senses and feed your soul.

Inspired by their very own real life love story, you'll follow in their expert footsteps to discover fine wine and gourmet experiences, via expertly crafted itineraries leading you through some of the most breath-taking landscapes of Europe including; Burgundy, Alsace, Lake Garda, the Italian Riviera and the majestic Dolomites, as well as iconic romantic cities such as Venice and Verona.

Sarah says:

Romance

If you're looking to include some memorable romantic moments the experiences we recommend are:

• In Venice, a private water taxi tour, followed by an intimate candlelight dinner for two overlooking the Grand Canal.
• In Portofino, a secluded walk beyond the posh port, along a narrow path, between high, stone walls (that easily conceal a stolen kiss!)—that comes out to a 300 degree view of the sea and a lighthouse with a lounge bar. It makes you feel like you are in one of the most exclusive spots on earth! (inspired by Sarah and Stephano's actual proposal story)
• On Lake Garda, within the walled town of Sirmione there is a beautifully restored bed & breakfast that gives you the feeling you are floating on the water. It’s in-house restaurant, was just awarded a Michelin star and boasts one of the most comprehensive wine cellars we’ve seen in Italy. Finally, this restaurant’s executive chef is one of only six chefs in all of Italy who has been granted the right to prepare a dish of Saffron Risotto for which a specific plate and 24K golden spoon must be flown in for the plating of the dish. It is also topped with a single leaf of edible 24K gold.

Your Stay

All our experiences include luxury accommodation but if you're looking for an especially romantic stay there are two special suites that stand out at our favourite Relais & Châteaux venue in Veneto.

• Romeo & Juliet Suite which has a romantic balcony overlooking the property’s own olive groves and vineyard
• Honeymoon Suite complete with a beautifully furnished lounge and canopy bed.

Both suites feature whirlpool baths. And you'll have all the privacy you need at this gated driveway property, which is in the ideal location for exploring Lake Garda and Verona, and the friendly staff will excel at making your stay as perfect as possible.

What to Do

Or you can meet us in person by joining one of our luxury wellness wine tours, which offers first class accommodation, yoga lessons each morning, followed by walking tours around the beautiful surroundings interspersed with authentic, mouth-watering, local cuisine and wine throughout the day.

The Food of Love

Food is centre stage for many of our experiences but for a special romantic occasion these are our favourites:

• Dine at one of Verona’s most prestigious restaurants, beginning with an exclusive opportunity to have an aperitivo in within their cellar—whilst witnessing the vestiges of Roman ruins. Then savor a nine-course tasting menu within their frescoed walls, decorated by the master Pino Casarini. There is nothing as romantic as lingering over a long, dimly-lit dinner in Verona, with a pairing of delicious wine for every dish.
• For something more off the tourist-trail, we can book a local restaurant overlooking the valley of Trento, which offers authentic cuisine in a romantic, yet unpretentious environment. Owned by a family who has been making champagne method wine for years, you may be tempted to sample a bottle. And should you wish, we can arrange a private tour of the family’s villa, which is a once in a lifetime experience, not often afforded to the public.

And if you are celebrating a holiday as a group, also off the beaten-path, we recommend our dear friend Davide, who in the hills of Valpolicella rolls sheets of golden pasta that could cover a king-size bed. His restaurant has been in the family for four generations and is a destination spot for locals. We can also arrange a pasting making course for your group with lunch and wine accompaniment. This experience is one of our clients’ favorites.
