Igniting the Flames of Love
Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi
Upon arrival at Nairobi international airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to Giraffe Manor. This exclusive boutique hotel sits within a small wildlife sanctuary home to a herd of freely roaming Rothschild’s giraffes. They might even join you for breakfast by popping their heads through the window!
Overnight in a Superior Room at Giraffe Manor.
Day 2: Nairobi Excursions
Following breakfast, you’ll proceed to the David Sheldrick Wild Trust where you’ll learn all about the efforts of their program while interacting with the elephants rescued by the organisation.
Enjoy lunch at the Karen Blixen coffee garden followed by a tour of the Karen Blixen Museum. Then proceed to the Giraffe Center to climb the elevated treetop aerie to feed the giraffes face-to-face.
Head back late afternoon to the hotel for a relaxing dinner.
Day 3: Samburu - Game Drive and Scenic Sundowner
After another magical breakfast with the Giraffes, proceed to the airport for your flight to Samburu, and on to the Sasaab Camp with a game drive en route.
Lunch at the camp followed by a trip by air following the Ewaso Nyiro River through the Samburu plains. Enjoy the wildlife including Grevy’s zebra, nesting vultures and elephants at the swamp.
Continue your bird’s eye wildlife spectacle over the culturally and historically significant Ololokwe mountain, where you’ll land on the rocks for a spectacular sundowner.
Fly back to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Samburu
After an once-in-a-lifetime cup of coffee watching a Samburu sunrise, head out to the park and see the big cats use the morning cool to look for a meal.
Your time at the luxury tented camp Sasaab offers a glimpse into Samburu life, and a chance to spot tbe Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa Oryx.
Leisurely afternoon exploring the wild, camel riding through the wilderness or relaxing at the spa.
Day 5: Masai Mara: An unrivalled, exhilarating Adventure
After breakfast, head out by air to the Masai Mara, where your guide will transfer you to your camp, with a game drive on the way.
Check in, followed by lunch and an afternoon game drive through the Masai Mara Game Reserve in an open-sided safari vehicle.
Return to camp to freshen up for dinner and overnight at Ishara Masai Mara camp, where you’ll enjoy an evening under the stars with Ishara’s Star Bed Experience, surrounded by the music of nature.
Day 6: Masai Mara: Where Serenity and Adventure Unite
Spend a leisurely morning taking in the Ishara Camp’s jewels. From the waterhole attracting cheetahs, elephants, lions, zebras, hippos, and a variety of birds, to the Aya Spa where you can cleanse and rejuvenate.
Dinner and overnight at the Ishara Masai Mara.
Day 7: Mara – Nairobi – Depart
End your romantic safari on a high with an optional dawn balloon ride, floating wherever the morning winds decide, then down to treetop level for unique views of the wildlife. Touch down and delight in a champagne breakfast before your departure to Nairobi for your flight home.
