Love at First Sight
Glen Clova Hotel & Luxury Lodges complex is a 4* resort based within the heart of the Angus Glens, in the Cairngorms National park in Scotland.
We have a 18 ensuite rooms, together with a selection of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom self-catering Scandinavian Lodges. Each of these lodges has a hot tub, sauna and a wood burning stove. We also have our Old Mill Lodge, again with hot tub and private garden. To complete our accommodation we have a two bedroom cottage and a 5 bedroom Manse house - both of which also have hot tubs and private gardens.
Within the hotel we have a large restaurant, a cosy bar and comfy bothy area. We serve a great selection of home cooked locally sourced produce and also have a great range of whiskies, gins and wines.
Romance
Glen Clova is the ideal wedding venue - set within hundreds of acres of stunning scenery, Glen Clova offers weddings of up to 150 people in our new purpose built barn due to be ready from April 2025.
You can choose to get married outdoors with the Angus hills as your backdrop or you can also get married in our nearby kirk (Scottish church) which is non-denominational, meaning any religion or non-religious wedding can take place there.
Then enjoy your wedding meal and evening party in our stunning barn again with spectacular views.
But Glen Clova isn't just about weddings, it's the ideal place to come for a relaxing break with your loved one.
Imagine sitting in your own private hot tub just outside your warm and cosy Scandinavian style lodge. Sipping a glass of champagne and either gazing out over the beautiful countryside or alternatively staring up at the night time sky filled with stars.
Your Stay
Whether you are looking for a break away to relax or to be more active Glen Clova is the ideal place to be. A stay in our luxury lodges is the perfect place to relax, enjoy a dip in your hot tub, followed by a rejuvenating sauna before snuggling up on your comfy sofa in front of the wood burning stove.
We can also enhance your stay by adding on romantic elements for your stay to include flowers, champagne, chocolates and cosy robes and slippers.
What to Do
If you are looking at more of an active vacation then Glen Clova is a paradise for walkers, photographers and cyclists with plenty of open roads and hills to keep you energised. Following on from your busy day, you can join us in our cosy Climber's bar for a few refreshments or enjoy a hearty Scottish meal.
The Food of Love
Our food is all freshly cooked by our team of chefs. Our focus is on locally sourced produce - our specialities include venison and pheasant both of which are from our own land. We also source local whiskies and gins from nearby distilleries.
For our guests we have something on the menu for everyone, many things with a tasty twist - enjoy pheasant pakora, or a warming venison ragu for example. We also have family favourites like Mac & Cheese or the best beer battered fish & chips you'll ever taste.
