Out of all the beautiful estate, Piero Giacosa, the historical owner, chose to live in its most noble part. It is our only Royal Suite, with a marble fireplace, coffered ceilings and original late 19th-century paneling. Its irregular fir plank parquet still conveys the warmth of the past, when the house was heated by ceramic stoves and fireplaces. Piero chose well: the room overlooks the entire property dominantly: a balcony overlooks the courtyard and the old house, the tall narrow windows let all the atmosphere created by the centuries-old plane trees, ginkgo, fir trees living in the park. It is the room for those who love to immerse themselves in the historical atmosphere and belle époque that this 19th-century house experienced, when its doors were often crossed by Puccini, Gabriele d'Annunzio and Eleonora Duse, Boito and Fogazzaro, Sarah Bernhardt.
