The little known Kumaon region lies in the northern hill state of Uttarakhand. It offers some of the most stunning mountain scenery that we know of anywhere, from the perennially snow capped peaks of the Great Himalaya range in the north to the pretty hill stations at the foothills.
Shakti 360° Leti is located in the Bageshwar district north of where our Kumaon villages are.
An innovative combination of traditional building techniques and contemporary design, 360° Leti is set in a stunning mountain wilderness at 8,000 feet. It is a place where you can take time to reflect, and allow the space, peace and beautiful landscape to work their magic around you.
Indoors, there's gourmet cooking, beverages and a cozy fireplace, as well as beds adorned with pashmina blankets and fluffy duvets. Outdoors there are mountain walks, treks and camping experiences. Laze in planter’s chairs and enjoy the views and sunshine or maybe pack fishing gear and a picnic lunch and hike down to the river. Yoga and meditation sessions can be arranged on request as well.
With only four private guest pavilions and a main lounge-dining area, the resort is ideal for a unique escape into serenity, without forgoing luxury and comfort.
Shakti 360° Leti can be combined perfectly with the Kumaon Village experiences to create a complete Himalayan experience.

Due to the remote location of Shati 360 Leti, there is a 3 night minimum stay - although the average stay is in fact 4 or 5 nights. Contact us for more information on the best duration of stay for you and what to do while you are with us.
Day One: Old Delhi – Kathgodam
This evening you will be met at your hotel and driven to the Old Delhi Railway Station for your train to Kathgodam.
Depart: 2240 hrs
Day Two Kathgodam – Shakti 360
Your train will arrive at 0540 hrs this morning. You will be met by your private guide at your train compartment and driven for 3.5 hours to Almora stopping en route for breakfast. Arrive in Almora in time for lunch after which you may like to relax for a while or continue driving for about 4 and a half hours to the road head nearest to the property.
From the road head in Leti you will walk to the resort, which usually takes around an hour along a dramatic, beautiful mountain trail. You will also have the option to drive depending on the path conditions.
Our resort is set in a stunning mountain wilderness at 8,000 feet, a place where you can take time to reflect, and allow the space, peace and astonishingly beautiful landscape to work their magic around you. Shakti 360° Leti provides an exclusive mountain experience – the first and only place of its kind in the Himalaya.
This evening is to relax and enjoy the property.

Day Three Shakti 360°
A walk of about an hour and a half from the campsite will bring you to a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. There are magnificent views of the Ramganga Valley, Heeramani Glacier and Nanda Kot from this shrine. The walk is on a relatively level path surrounded by oak forests, passing by streams and a traditional flourmill. En route you will come across local people taking supplies to and from the furthest villages in the valley, giving you an insight into the tough lifestyle in the mountains. Enjoy some drinks and cookies or a picnic lunch at this beautiful location and walk back to the camp.

Day Five Shakti 360° - Kathgodam
After an early breakfast, you will walk to the road head, where your vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to Kathgodam station/Pantnagar airport.
Depart: On Ranikhet Express (A/C sleeper class) at 2040 hrs.

Arrive: Old Delhi Station at 0400 hrs
This morning you will be met and driven to your hotel in Delhi.
